Ben Brookmyer
November 1st, 2010Dear Ben passed away last week.Ben epitomized the concept of one life to live,live it in hi-gear.To hell with living gracefully.Ben led a fun life with a fantastic positive attitude.For the lancaster county boys our friend and mentor will be forever loved and missed both in the field and at sea.
I have such wonderful memories of shooting guns, my first taste of venison and private rollercoaster rides all thanks to Ben. He was a good one.
Ben was a wonderful friend, mentor and just a fun person to be near. He taught Donny & I many things and showed us how to live life to the fullest. He will be missed. Love ya!
I didn’t have as many experiences with Benny as some others; however, I always marveled at his enthusiasm in how he enjoyed other people’s company and secondly, for taking the road less travelled. I’ll miss his 10 gauge thumping a goose at a distance where most of us wouldn’t attempt.
