December 18th, 2006Awesome day…This is what we have travelled 3000 miles to find.11 miles off the beach with 4 volcanos as a backdrop and billfish freejumping in every direction,,,,at least 60 shots today…Doubles.Triples..Pretty blue water and all to ourselves…
Released 16 of 22 hooked with just the 3 of us.Small ones 60lbs with many over a hundred.Spooled out on 1 on a 20lbs outfit.Went through 6 /12 packs of mediums,,,could not rig baits fast enough….Learned a lot today..Will be better prepared tomorrow
